It is common to have leftovers, especially on a holiday like Thanksgiving. The first thing (or maybe the second after serving that Brunch) is to make a leftover menu for the week.
Usually, a soup with the Turkey stock with the carcass “a must” sandwiches of course and sometimes a new creation. It all depends on the leftovers. The truth is that I prepare additional food to accompany the leftovers, especially veggies, nothing goes to waste in my kitchen and all is converted into even healthier dishes.
Here’s a Pork Ragout with my leftover pasta salad, asparagus and some Zucchini leftover from my Thanksgiving Ratatouille. Remember, plan ahead for your leftovers and maybe even set aside some of your favorite dishes to makeover during the week.
